Nevis, [Wednesday January 24, 2024] Excitement is building on the island of Nevis as the much-anticipated 50th anniversary of the Nevis Culturama Festival approaches. The journey begins with a Press Conference at the MGR Park Visitor Center on Thursday January 24 at 10:00 a.m.

Updates and plans will be presented by the Honorable Eric Evelyn – Minister of Culture, Abonaty Liburd – Chair of the Nevis Culturama Committee, John Hanley – Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, Devon Liburd – CEO of the Nevis Tourism Authority and Phéon Jones – Marketing Chairperson of the Nevis Culturama Committee.

Chairperson of the Nevis Culturama Festival Committee, Abonaty Liburd, expressed, “As we embark on this historic milestone, the press conference aims to unveil special initiatives, competitions and programs designed to elevate Culturama 50 to unprecedented heights.  The first wave of core activities will also be revealed. Additionally, a highly anticipated announcement regarding the 2024 Miss Culture Queen Pageant promises to add an extra layer of excitement to this momentous occasion.”
